The Expanded You

We see it in our mind, that person that seems to become more beautiful with every situation it finds. We are in awe at everything we do and when we see this person, feelings of love are flowing through and through.

I'm talking about the expanded you.

To many of us, this is that image that never leaves our mind that gives us hope of a better life and then for some of us there's such a strong desire to become this expanded version of ourselves that we work on making it become real.

The expanded version of ourselves is not a figment of our imagination it's a calling to a higher place than where we currently are. Many of us know that we are not where we want to be and hold a hope to walk in that expanded person we see in our mind but then leave our feelings at hope, we don't pursue the higher calling with passion. Maybe it seems too hard or we feel we don't have what it takes but surely if this vision of ourselves has been given to us then it is more than possible. It is attainable.

Did you have a vision of the person you are now?

Most of us are walking around having adapted bits of versions of different people and what they thought we should be. We've adapted a version of what we believe family wanted, a version of what society wanted and a version of what anyone else who has had influence over us thinks we should be whilst that expanded version of us sits on a cloud waiting.

Some of us have some amazing visions that God has given to us but we see ourselves as unable to grab hold of them because we have so many other issues to deal with. What we must understand is that expanded version of ourselves has already overcome the issues and has figured out that those issues if used positively are the matter that contributes great substance to the expanded version of ourselves. That expanded version of ourselves knows that it has but one purpose and that is to expand to the glory of God and in not doing so we are really settling for less and much more stress. We didn't come here to live a life of stress and we didn't come here to struggle. We came here to live life and live it abundantly!

What will it take for you to become all that you dreamt of?

What action can we take today to move towards that expanded version of ourselves?

What can we commit to today to enlarge ourselves?

Can we expand our mindset?

Can we expand our love walk?

Can we expand our confidence in self?

Can we expand our love for self?

Can we challenge ourselves by expanding our thinking in all the areas that we seem to be limited in?

Today can we start to take steps into the expanded version of us?

St Jn 10:10 The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
