The Voice of Self Judgment

The voice of self judgment is that voice that never leaves us alone, in fact it will swear that it's our only true and best friend. Many of us haven't recognised it because it's been there for as long as we can remember.

The voice of self judgment will go to lengths to prove that it knows exactly what we deserve, after all it's has been there through it all, taking notes and filing everything for when we would need it later on. This voice is faithful and always on time. Never will it let anyone get the better of us so... it boasts.

That voice of self judgment knows who is for and against us and will continue to remind us whenever we forget. Even when we decide to move on from our failures and setbacks the voice of self judgment will unfailingly point out that we've been there before and things didn't work out.

This voice has built a fortress in our mind and as a result shaped many of our belief systems which we live out unaware. This voice has successfully stored all things people have done to us from our childhood till now and built barriers so that these crimes against us will never happen again. However this voice will keep us living and reacting to life and the experiences in life as if we are still a victim and we all know that victims are always hurting, living with many thoughts like "Maybe there is something wrong with me and I deserved these bad things to happen to me."

This voice will keep us chained to our past and whatever bad memories we may have had.

Not only is this voice crippling to our growth, it has us living out of our lower self. With this voice having a foothold in our mind we only get glances at the images of our higher self in moments of non-resistance. With this voice consistently navigating our life we will forever find it hard to pluck up the courage and live from our higher self.

WHAT HAS THIS VOICE OF SELF JUDGMENT SAID TO YOU?

HAS IT SAID?

1. You don't have what it takes to do that.

2. Everyone is so much better at that than you are.

3. You're not loveable that is why you don't have anyone to love you.

DOES THIS VOICE?

1. Keep you needy in relationships that you know are not good for you?

2. Always pop its head up when you try to step out of your comfort zone?

3. Point out all your flaws, just so that you are aware of your faults?

4. Paralyse you from taking action towards your higher self?

5. Point out the weaknesses and dislikes in others?

HAS THIS VOICE?

1. Condemned you to a future that is in lack?

2. That being financially free is only for some and it's something you could never achieve.

WHAT HAS THIS VOICE SAID TO YOU?

We know this voice and it knows us, or at least it thinks it does, but because this voice is not founded on who God says we are as co-creators in this universe and has not seen a glimpse of your higher self and knows not the purpose for which we were created it can't help us to think from our higher self.

When we begin to dig deep we will see that this voice is just a program of negative talk in our mind that has made itself at home. When we get to the root of it we will find it has been created out of thinking thrusted on us as children, past failings, bad experiences etc.

This voice must be challenged by us every time we hear it. When it tries to demoralise us we need to speak to that voice and correct it.

WHEN THAT VOICE BEGINS TO SPEAK, SAY:

1. God never created anyone to be a failure.

2. We all make mistakes and I forgive myself for not having the awareness to walk in my higher self.

3. I am a loveable human being and a gift to this universe.

4. I am doing the best I can with the awareness that I have.

5. I am a beautiful, loving human being and have love for all people.

6. I am not "the walking wounded" and not only, is healing available to me; forgiveness is a strength of mine.

7. I am divinely made perfect and through me will great things be done, just like my creator!
